TLC for Kids Sports, is an award-winning non-profit community outreach effort aimed at improving Bay Area youth sports. It was created in 2009 by O.C. Jones & Sons, Inc., a Berkeley-based heavy construction firm and leading builder of athletic fields. As a demonstration of the company’s commitment to local neighborhoods and under-served communities, O.C. Jones & Sons, Inc., in partnership with KNBR 680AM, created a contest for local youth sports fields to be selected and fully renovated in hopes to create a positive long lasting impact on local youth.
Our vision is for every child involved in youth sports to play on a safe and handicap accessible field.
During construction, we will utilize our own resources as well as reach out to local sponsors, donors and volunteers to exemplify a true community project.
